MOSQUITO LAGOON
The Mosquito Lagoon is located 45-60 minutes from Orlando. Mosquito Lagoon is very unique because it is the only place in the world where Redfish breed inside a landlocked estuary. Being a self-sustained population of Redfish, it is very important that anglers practice catch and release inside of Mosquito Lagoon. 25 miles long and 2 miles wide, the lagoon spans from Max Hoeck Creek on the south side in Merritt Island to Ponce Inlet on the north side. The lagoon provides great opportunities to sight fish Redfish, Sea Trout and Black Drum year round. Its shallow expanse of islands, shoals, creeks and ponds, provides protection from the wind and endless chances to stalk our prey. Our lagoon Redfish often feed along shorelines with their backs out of the water, giving fly anglers those shots we dream about. Tanner caught his first Redfish on fly tackle here in 2005 and he looks forward to poling you to your first Mosquito Lagoon Redfish and many more.

Gulf Coast
Just an hour and 45 minutes away from Orlando, the Gulf of Mexico opens up opportunities to tackle Redfish, Snook, Sea Trout and Tarpon. The Redfishing is best in this neck of the woods from November to April. Tailing Redfish are more likely to be seen here on certain tides and well placed flies can yield fish upwards of 10 pounds. Just when the warmer temperatures of late April set in, the Tarpon will begin to migrate north along the Gulf of Mexico. The tarpon fishing is best from May to mid-July.
